I just tested the "request unlock" button and the email it sent did not contain a link to unlock.

    Here is the email users receive;

"You have requested for the account with username testing2 to be unlocked. Please click the link below to unlock your account:
    Unlock link:

After clicking the above link you will be able to login to the WordPress administration panel."

All the text is there but, no link. Strange right?

BTW, this has been verified by multiple users.

Yeah that is rather strange. I have just tried another test and I can't see any issues on my test site.

I suspect that for whatever reason, the plugin was unable to find the locked entry in the DB table based on the IP range.

Can you check the AIOWPS logs to see if there is an entry such as the following:
"No locked user found with IP range xx..."

We are in the process of changing this feature for the next release, ie, we will remove the need to enter username so that the locked user only needs to enter email address.
We might also tighten up some of the code where the unlock link is generated.

I'm seeing "No locked user found with username xxx" in the logs. Any idea what that might mean? I see this multiple times in the logs from the same people who complained about not having the unlock link in their email.

    Ok I understand now.
In the current version which you have the plugin is expecting the user to enter both username and email address to unlock themselves.

The plugin is then actually doing a DB query on the username and in your case, not finding it, hence it is not producing an unlock link.

This is fixed in the upcoming version.
In the new release, we have changed this feature such that only the email address will be entered. The plugin will then query the DB based on the user's IP range and hence you should not see any of your current issues again.

We should have the new release ready within a week.

Whats crazy is, the username is there. I can see it as being locked out when I look at the AIOWP user login page.

I look forward to your upcoming release!
