users, post, pages, and others not showing after uploading to server

    My wordpress site is acting weird when i try to upload it on windows server. everytime i’m done with the upload and check WP ADMIN users,pages, post, slides, contact form information are just showing fine then after an hour or two all that section disappeared but the website is showing just fine on browser. I tried it on our linux server and everything are just fine.

    Is there anyone who can help me out with this.

    Have you tried contacting your hosts? It does sound like a database/hosting issue.

    thanks esmi for the reply. i checked their mysql version it’s 5.0 or later I think. 5.0 is compatible with wordpress 3.3.2 right?

    is there a specific problem on their mysql or in which part of the database that causing this problem?

    That should be fine., The minimum requirement are:
    PHP version 5.2.4 or greater
    MySQL version 5.0 or greater

    That said, I have a vague memory of one of the PHP 5.2.x versions being rather buggy, so having access to PHP 5.3 would probably be a Good Thing(tm). Running WordPress on a windows server is always an exercise in frustration – which is why I, personally, avoid it like the plague. Do you have access to any error logs?

    I checked again the hosting just to make sure.
    PHP Version 5.2.17 | MySQL 5.0.51
    This a client website and they provide the hosting and domain so as you can see I don’t have a choice but to deal with it.

    i tried to call their hosting company but they only have php5.2.17 and they can’t install a newer version, they said maybe it will mess up their other clients website that use old version of php. I’ll have to tell our client to transfer on a linux server hosting.
