   In wordpress.com the logged in users can subscribe the blog and they will receive any new post.

   Is there a similar option in a self hosted wordpress blog?
   How a user in my blog could receive a email whenever a new post has been inserted?

   I wouldn't add a plugin, I'd like to have subscribers to my blog receiving a notification whenever a new post has been issued.
   Exactly like in wordpress.com, thanks.
