Hi, I have a problem. I can't seem to get users registered either way. I even tried registering test accounts manually and through the registration link, but both instances turn up the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in /home/helloism/public_html/wp-includes/user.php on line 309
I re-uploaded a fresh copy of user.php, I even changed the file permissions. But if I were to look at line 309 I would have no clue what it means because I'm not very PHP savvy. Please help!
What happens if you disable plugins, in particular the plugin that is asking the math question at registration?
Might provide a link to the problem plugin if you continue this thread.

I'm getting the same problem, except my error is on line 316.

Even with all plugins disabled I'm getting the error. Can't register new people at all.
Any thoughts? I'm running 2.6.2, but the problem appeared when I upgraded to 2.6.

It sometimes baffles me that in two days I can never get a response to legitimate issues.

It sometimes baffles me that people will bump 3 month old threads on entirely different topics, and then expect people to pay attention to them.
