Support » Plugin: Content Audit » [Users allowed to audit] settings disappear

  • As mentioned in another thread that has been marked resolved the settings for [Users allowed to audit] won’t stick if you uses ‘update options’.

I noticed in the options tabel that the option “content_audit” was initiated with ‘…s:5:”roles”;a:2:i:0;s:13:”administrator”;i:1;s:6:”editor”;}…’

But after updating through the settings dialog to only admin the option string read:
    ‘…s:9:”rolenames”;a:1:{i:0;s:13:”administrator”;}…’

I hope this gives a clue to fixing the error.

    Great plugin btw!

  • Thanks for the tip above.

Changing “rolenames” to “roles” on line 46 of content-audit-options.php fixes the problem while we wait for an update.

Thanks, that fix worked for me too. I can’t use 1.5 yet as I get the “white screen of death” on the public view of the site.

I’ve just uploaded 1.5.1. It should fix both problems. Let me know if you still see either!
