   i plan to build kind of a WEB 2.0 website, is it possible to let users submit their own posts and choose theire own tags/categories etc?

   joshziman, Thank you.

   How do i deside that all users have i writing capabilities?

   I did not find such a function in admin pane

   On the "Options" page, select Authors(I think) where is asks, "New User Default Role"

   Now all new users will be authors, thus allowing any user to read, write posts, edit posts, and upload files.

   So, if everybody can write/post - that means WEB 2.0? (Just curious, never understood what the 2.0 is about... and didn't meet yet anybody who knows!)

   Yeah, I know. Not that it contradicts anything I said: nobody knows. Or, everybody has a different idea which is almost the same :)
   But let's not hijack the OP. - 2.0 dicussion closed.

   I found that.

   Problem is that every one can also upload files to my server, and it's very complicated to post.
   I actually want to build a "overheard" site, [like this http://www.overheardinnewyork.com/ ]

   So it would be great if it's possible to simply place a line in at the main page left side "submit a post"

   I found out about this plugin where you can customize the capabilities of each role.
