I've been using wordpress for years, and I currently operate well over a dozen wordpress sites.

I've never run accrossed this problem before.

I KNOW my username and password are correct because I literally just set them via the Database for wordpress.

The problem is simple, wordpress keeps telling me my username and password are incorrect, but they're not incorrect.

I'm building a new site on my Windows Apache MySQL PHP (WAMP) setup and all of the service are running fine. I'm logged into PHPmyAdmin and have set the username and password for my admin. I changed them to something simple because I couldn't log in. I still can't log in. I have no idea what the problem is!!!

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

I set them by going into PHPmyAdmin and going into the DB for my wordpress install and finding wp_users and setting the password via phpmyadmin.

Did you ensure that the password was MD5 encrypted?

OMG. I should be eternally ashamed of myself. I forgot about that.

    Good day esmi.
