I am a newbie and need help.
I setup a WP DB through Fantastico and don't know my username/password. I created an account here to be able to access the forum, but the username is not the same.
Would someone please help me to determine my blog username so that I can enter the admin console?

Sorry for my ignorance. I am not sure where to contact admin for assistance...
no - figaro means did you try "admin" as the user name for your blog. That is what it always is unless you used a one click installer to set up wordpress

Error message states that "admin" is not a valid username.
Is Fantastico considered a 1-click installer? Perhaps so...Any other ideas?

Fantastico is considered a 1-click-installer. It should have told you the username and password when it installed. I believe those should match your hosts username and password (the username and password you use to access cpanel).
