Is there some plugin or hack or anything that can let a visitor to my site select how many posts he would like to display on a page?
To explain, on my homepage or by default any page I would display 5 posts and the bottom of the 5 posts I could put a few links or a drop down box where a visitor can select the number of posts he would like to display per page.
An added advantage would be setting a cookie to remember this preference.
Any suggestions, sample code?

Don't know of a plugin for setting a reader-configurable posts-per-page option. However, the following plugins would be a good place to start in regards to coding your own:

Thanks for the links. I am now using the Custom Query String Plugin on my site.
