User restrictions and permissions

Hello Everyone!

Is it possible to have a user register for a site, and when they register, this creates a new folder on the database, which can then only be seen by that user when they login?

So, if that user was to create content, and other users did the same, each user can only see the content that they create, and not the other users content.

Basically setting up permissions or access to just one folder that is created when a user registers.

I hope this makes sense and I hope someone has some advice for me. My brain is frying at this point…
