My users do not get emails after they register or forget password. I need to configure my wordpress to send emails out via my Google Apps email address.

If you have an access to your Control Panel, simply login, locate your MX Entry and check Remote Mail Exchanger. This is so that your site doesn't accepts any e-mail's locally, since you're hosting this at Google.

This is how this looks like via cPanel:

    Other option:

What you can do is to install this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ and in email options set your Google Apps settings.

This is not helping me understand. Members are not able to join on my WordPress because they are not being emailed their passwords.
