User profile url different after multisite

I activated multisite so I could play around with a different theme on a subdomain. Then I removed multisite because I was running into too many problems.

Now the problem is that the user profile sites used to be sitename.org/reporter/username. All of them have been changed to sitename.org/blog/reporter/username.

When multisite was active, it seems like all the users got moved to the /blog site and even after I got rid of multisite the /blog part of the url got stuck.

How do I fix this so all the user profiles are on sitename.org/reporter/username?

(I am a newbie so sorry if I’m using incorrect technical terms!)
