BeachApeI am a noob to WP, thinking about my changing my current model of website and I hope experienced users can let me know if WP is the right tool for me.
I searched posts on 'user permissions' and came across a plug in that has not been updated since 2008.
What I am looking for is something such as this post (also 4 years old - http://wordpress.org/extend/ideas/topic/better-user-permissions-system )
Specifically; "Provide an added Permissions Role where the user can only update pages assigned to their user name'.

where a user can only edit one page assigned to them, like their own mini-home page, cannot add pages and have some other limits put on it?
Would this be do-able in WP and/or what would the plug-in be I need. Thanks in advance for replies - it is very much appreciated.
