    Hello everyone,

I've installed wordpress as a blog section on my site which acts as an informational site about the town i live in. I've recently created a local businesses section, and wanted to be able to give each business a blog on my site. I keep my own blog in my blogs section, and what I'm wondering is how to make it so that other users (local businesses) can't post in my blog, but can only post in their own blog on my site. I wanted to set up a distinct blog for each person, and make sure that's the only one they can post to, but i can't figure out how.....

any help would be much appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Tom

You will have to give as a better definition of "their own blog". If you meant that each business should have a stand alone blog... that means as many WP installations as many businesses. 100 biz = 100 WP. 1000 biz = 1000 WP.
    This is what you want?

Or, you can create categories inside your blog for every business.
However, if you want ONE installation and many-many blogs > http://mu.wordpress.org - the Multi User cousin of WP.
