   Hi all,

   I'm new to Buddypress and know WordPress from blogging I've done and still do. I was recently made an administrator to a social network site for a particular niche. The reason I was added is that (a) I'm fairly geeky and will learn what I need to learn to make things run (or create new stuff), and (b) the site has started to get spammers hitting it. The current site owner/administrator has been MIA due to personal issues, and at the same time since he made me an admin last week, the spam posts have hit epic proportions. I'm having to check the site several times a day and delete several spam posts each time and block or delete IDs.

   However, there's a problem. I had edited the "options" to allow me to see 500 users per page (instead of the default number of 20). That worked fine, but when I tried up increase that number to 999, the page crapped out. Now, all I get is a blank page. I can no longer block or delete users b/c I can't even access the page, at all.

   When I try to view source of the blank page, nary a single line of code shows at all. I've tried this in several browsers, and it's the same thing in each one. Waiting does NOT make any changes. Nothing shows - period.

   So, what can I do? Help?

   I have not remedied the problem with my original admin ID [aka ID1], but managed to find a work around. Here's what I did (just in case someone else runs across this issue).

   I was still able to see the "Add User" page, even though the user list page was/is completely blank. So, I created a new ID [aka ID2], made it an administrator, and hit submit. Unfortunately, the return page was also blank. So, I wasn't sure if the action was completed.

   Using another browser, I logged into ID2 and found that indeed, it worked. In addition, I was happy to find that the user list was/is viewable under that ID. I changed the screen options to view 500 users per page. That worked, and I am keeping it there.

   Next (since this seems to be just a config issue inside ID1), I changed ID1 to "author". Restarted browser (with cleared cookies) & logged in. ID1 works as author.

   Next inside ID2, I changed ID1 back to admin...to see if in the process of changing roles, the config was whipped/cleared and therefore rectified. It was not.

   I don't have access to the backend to poke through the individual files and edit what I need in order to fix the issue. However, that's okay (for now) b/c the new ID works to do what I need while the site owner/main Admin is MIA.

   I'm sure he'll return before too long and all will be well once, again.

   hi...got the same problem...i just transfered to a new host...now when i check my users page...what i got was a blank page...i cannot seem to find my users afterall...why is that so?...

   can someone tell us where in the database to change this back?

   finally found it in the db...

   it's in wp_xxxxx_usermeta

   search for "users_per_page" meta key and set it back to 500 and you should be good :)
