  • If the version of mysql is different across servers then the MD5 hash might not detect the hashed passwords across different servers versions.

    The last step of the installer (under advanced opts) lets you create a new admin account that you could login with if the others are not working…

    Cheers~

    Thanks for your work on Duplicator.
    Using WP3.6 network site with no new registrations allowed.
    Now installing on localhost.
    Everything fine until I try to Resave Permalinks / Delete Install Files – Duplicator sends me to the ‘real’ site NOT localhost.
    I have made a second localhost/site, installed successfully to the same point.
    Please help resolve this problem, Duplicator otherwise is straightforward and effective.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hey ozmariners,

    Here is a helpful section on the FAQ page:
    -> Browse to: http://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq/
    -> Find Section: “2. Installer=> Everything installed but I keep getting redirected to another URL or 404 errors.”

    You might try and delete the .htaccess file…

    Hope that helps…
