• Hi,

Im using WordPress as part of a review site so users will have to log in regulally, is it possible to have the login username and password boxes actually on the normal page designrater than the admin login style?

    If so how?

    Thanks, Mike

  • oMIKEo,
You can edit wp-login.php to point to a new CSS file, and then style it however you like, manually.

Many people have requested that themes be able to modify the login form, and it is something that is being considered for the next version of WordPress.

Thanks i will look into that.

And yes if that was part of the ‘theme’ it would be really useful. Hope to see that around soon.

Ive got another question (one of many!) – Ca you limit the text on the home page so that it only displays say a 200 words then just adds a ‘Read More’ button to the end so if its a long post it doesn’t take up the whole homepage?

    Thanks for any advice. Mike
