   Hi,

   I have tested this issue in wp 2.8.4 and 2.8.5.

   I am using the default wp_login and have not customized any login features.

   When loggin into the blog, the login screen comes up and accepts my user and password. I am redirected to the admin section, and it shows me as logged in. I have no troubles within the admin section.

   However, once I navigate away from the admin section, say back to the blog, it does not recognize me as logged in. user_logged_in() function always returns false.

   I have checked and cookies are allowed in the browser and the cookie is present. This problem exists in both Firefox 3.5. IE 7 works fine.
