   I just received an email saying I have a new user registration on our blog. It came to the email address of wordpress at california-travels dot com and not to margaret.tom.... My question is is this just someone subscribing to a feed or is it something else? They're showing only as a "subscriber" but didn't leave any other information. The email address is useraccs at gmail dot com which sounded a little fishy. It's a fairly new blog and I'm pretty new at it too.

   Just want to make sure.

   Some one at that email just signed up to my blog, too.

   That's a bogus "registering" - testing your blog... maybe hoping to hack it :)
   Don't let anybody register and you'll never have that issue.

   I had the same thing. useraccs at gmail, I just deleted them. I also switched it to not allowing anyone to register.
