   greetings all -

   My author lvl users were able to embed youtube and google files just fine until recently on my 2.0.7 wordpress blog. But now they require Editor lvl rights, which I find to be poor solution to my problem.

   I've tried the standard, reseting of user rights and plugin deactivation routine. Does anyone have any insight to my problem?

   Try the Role Manager plugin - you can assign specific tasks for appropriate user levels:

   thanks samboll - i'll try it, i just wish I knew what changed/happen? things were fine last week.

   I am sure its user error like usual

   Happy to report that this is not a "user error" as my Author's have the same problem and can no longer embed items.
