• Myself and another admin have been trying to login to our WordPress website (wp-login), but we get this message:

    “User has not been activated.”

Until recently, both of us were able to login with no problem. The hosting outfit recently upgraded Linux on this server. Could that be causing this problem?
What can I do to fix this?

I am also finding the “ERROR: User has not been activated.” error message. A client recently upgraded WordPress and now attempting to log in as the admin this error message is produced. Any help?

Add me to this list. A few of my sites are now doing this.

If you have the WP-Members plug in installed, try FTP in to the site and delete the WP-Members folder: /wp-content/plugins/wp-members/

Just solved the problem for me.

    Thank you.
This also worked for me. I just deleted the wp-members folder and it works fine for me.

If i am a user and not an admin/owner of a wordpress site and i am trying to login and get this message “User has not been activated”, what should I do then?
