Hello, I am creating a website which will be user-based. I registered a second account on the website to see what the website looked to anyone else other than the administrator.
First of all, the login screen is ugly (not the most important issue though). Secondly, the users that the website is designed for will not be able to understand the standard user area which is seen when someone logs in. Does anyone know if there is a modification, so that anyone who visits the website can easily register, login and use the website?
Hello samboll.
Thank you very much for your help. That fixes the first problem, what about making the website more user friendly, gettying rid of the strange dashboard, which may inhibit some users?
you can redirect them to the page of your choice with the plugin
to hide it completely from users

Hiya, where would you redirect them to though?

front page? About page? create a special page template for subscribers, editors, etc.?
Ideally, I need a reduced version of the dashboard, which allows them to access options like post subscriptions etc. But it would be nice if there were a plugin which simplifies the menu for registered users.
