USER Documentation (3 posts)

I'm looking for documentation that is written FOR an actual USER.

Ok let me define USER. I am not a USER.

Most people that will use a blog that I create will have Author authority only and may never have been on a blog before. A user is someone that signs up to use my blog, to comment on exsisting topics and creat new topics. AUTHOR authority. I am the developer they are the Users.

I've been looking for (and have not found) doc I can add to my blog that will help USERS with the basics of Login/out add a comment, start a new topic and navigate the archives etc.

Does this doc exist or do I have to write it myself?

    Thanks

I don't know of one specific document focusing on just the USER of a WordPress blog, though it's likely someone somewhere has written such a thing. If so, it would be nice to see them add it to the Codex...

However, there are a number of articles and sections in the Codex aimed at educating WordPress users (lower and upper case), and much of it was written with the perspective of the newcomer in mind. You could take material from these to inform your users:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Introduction_to_Blogging
    http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Semantics
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Panels

Thanks Kafkaesqui - especially for the quick response.

Maybe I'll give it a whack. I'm a documenting fool
