User Account Pg. Linking to Homepage

    HELP!!!
    my account user name is the same as my websites domain name. (user name: SocialRevo Url: Socialrevo.co.cc)
    i have setup the network so it runs off subdomains.

    My problem is that when ever it type in ‘SocialRevo.co.cc’ it links to the member page ‘socialrevo.co.cc/members/socialrevo'(when signed in, when it is not signed in it links to a login pg.)
    it maybe that wordpress is getting confused with the co.cc domain and thinking that socialrevo is the member subdomain so that is why it is doing this
    but i have no idea how to fix it, so that when i type in ‘SocialRevo.co.cc’, it goes to my homepage.
    i also have domain mapping running (sunrise.php settings are fixed), nothing else is setup (no server ip or anything like that) in fear of messing something up
    so somebody please help

    This means you’re using BuddyPress.

    BP is redirecting you. And it looks like you’ve got some other plugin doing things like redirecting you to the login page, for instance.

    Start disabling plugins.

    i resolved half of the issue now, it was a plug in
    but now whenever i type in my website socialrevo.co.cc it links to the login page, which i don’t want it to do. i want it to link to the homepage.
    HELP what do i do

    ohh it when i type in socialrevo.co.cc in the address bar it goes to this

    sorry it was a plugin
    it was “private buddypress” i read the description wrong, i thought it blocked guests from looking at profiles.

    We don’t delete posts (or threads) without good reasons.

    If you don’t want people to know you work on/for a site, don’t link to it. That’s just standard Internet Rules.
