I have been searching for hours now. I do apologize if I am asking a redundant question.
I currently have a network of static html pages wherein I have left space to add a WordPress component that would integrate a blog into the front page and a few other pages of my site. I want to use WordPress as a CMS.
What I would like to do is grant WordPress access to a div and contain my blog within my static page. It seems this not possible based on my research.
I could convert all my pages to WordPress themes but I would rather not. Any suggestions for workarounds?
Thank you very much.

How to Load WordPress into Div Area
I just found this but it doesn't seem to work. I linked to "index.php" and called for #content but no dice.

jQuery load PHP file into a Div
Funny how when you give up and ask the question, the answers finally start to roll in. This snippet got the content pulled, without formatting.

I have no idea why, but it stopped working. If anyone feels like giving this fresh eyes, I'd appreciate it.

Hi jakezephyr!!!!
I guess, its much better, i.e. you convert your html pages to wordpress themes.
