use the hyperlink “title” tag but no tooltips?

    I need to use the title tag of a hyperlink as a javascript variable but my client doesn’t want the yellow tooltips that show when you hover over the links (I dunno what it is about clients hating these… they’re basic browser functionality). Is there a CSS code that removes the tooltips in the same way that outline:none removes the outline outside the link?
