   I'm using le-petite-url as short url service for the posts on my blog. But I also would like to use it as a widget on my website for other people to use as url shortener service. E.g. a input field for the long url and it returns a short url. And perhaps a list of the entered urls.

   Would such a hack be possible?

   It would be technically possible with some changes to the core of the app, but it is out of the scope of the project. la petite url is specifically for links to YOUR site, and that isn't going to change.
