I have been thinking about converting the stores to custom post types, but I haven’t had time to really look into it. It’s very likely it will happen in a future release.
Yes. This would be awesome if it was query a post type of store or whatever. Then we could easily add metadata.

The store locations will be converted to custom post types in ver 2.0. I have been working on the new version the last couple of weeks.

It will be a few weeks before the 2.0 version is ready to be released. I did finish the custom post type part, but there are more features that I want to implement before releasing it.
