Use custom author details for guest bloggers

Can this plugin accommodate posts by guest bloggers?

Some bloggers write for different companies, for instance. Maybe their first post byline is different than the next one.

An easy way to remember would be to use [shortcode]Customized byline text[/shortcode]

If you could make this happen, I’d promote this plugin all over the place. I know many, many people who want this functionality.
