Is it possible to start with a large image, use it as a featured gallery and thumbnail image via custom fields, and as the post's thumbnail image as well?
Seems too cumbersome for my client to have to use 2 or 3 images to use in one post.
Use 1 universal image for post? (5 posts)

Sure - I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work.

Posted 2 years ago #My template uses articleimg and thumbnail custom fields. How is it possible to use one image that would be i.e. 500x500px in the articleimg field and 150x150px in the thumbnail field?

It's not elegant but you could resize the image using CSS.
