Usage of Featured Image in Main page vs Category page

    Hi All,

    1. As you can see, some of the posts with featured image are misaligned in the home page making the whole thing look messy. Is there a way to remove the display of featured image in main content?
    * I cannot stop using the featured images altogether because I created them in the first place to use in vertical slider (which is not there right now, but I plan to use one in the future).

    2. I might also need a way to display only featured image in category pages (using excerpts instead of full posts). Of course, where there is no featured image available, other images in the post shall be displayed instead.

    3. I still haven’t found a way to display only excerpts in category pages but display full content in main page because that option is not available in the theme options page. Can someone shed some light on how I can get this done? (sorry if this question is out of topic)

    I appreciate any help that you can provide and thanks in advance 🙂

    For question, you’ve got a bit of a complicated setup because when adding a featured image plus an image inserted into the first part of your post, you will get both showing up. The only option is to not use a featured image, or remove the duplicated image in the post. The other option would be to convert your posts into excerpts which do not load images or formatting (just plain text) in the excerpt part. This means editing the theme’s template code, and doing so, you will get a “Read More” on your posts in the blog. Currently, it looks as though most if not all your posts are “full posts” without the read more tag in place.

    2. Your second question relates to the first actually, or almost.

    The only other option would be to get my pro version of Preference because I’m about to add that option setting to choose between excerpt or content (which is your post layout). I’ve already added this capability to my other themes and Preference is the last one for me to do this…(doing it this week).
