URLs are incorrect

Ok, I installed yoast and everything was going as planned until I noticed that it was causing my site’s pages to have an incorrect reference in it’s URLs. Please see the following example:
current url being generated after yoast install:
“http://mydomain.com/home-bottom-display/our-real-estate-services/”
the url should actually be:
“http://mydomain.com/our-real-estate-services/”
I say this because “home-bottom-display” does not even exist.
It would be great is someone on here knows why this is happening and what the fix is. I appreciate your help.
