[resolved] URL Structure for Custom Post Types (3 posts)

    Scott and everybody else,

    I would like to have the following custom post types:

    1) Sports
    2) Leagues
    3) Teams
    4) Games

    The URL structure for the permalinks on them should be as follows:

    *mysite.com/sport/league/team/game/
    *mysite.com/basketball/nba/orlando-magic/game-1/

    What is the best way to achieve that url structure with permalinks? I am excited to use this Pods plugin, but need some simple direction as to whether I should create custom post types or even do custom taxonomies for a couple of the 4 unique types of content on my site. Please give me your opinions and advice.

    This isn't specific to Pods, but you could setup custom rewrite URLs for your post types. There's more online, but this may help:
