    Hello,

    I would like to know if there's a way to shorten author page URLs via services like Bit.ly Pro ? Example:
    http://mylongdomain.com/author/michael to http://dmn.com/michael

    The goal is to provide shorten custom URLs of profile pages for all the contributors of one blog, by keeping their nickname in the shorten URL.
