Is the NextGen Gallery served through WordPress? Only things served by WordPress can be protected with s2Member.
Could you show me an example of a gallery URL you’re trying to protect?
And could you show me a screenshot of your URI restriction configuration? WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restrictions -> URI
Thanks. 🙂
Yes, I install NextGen Gallery as plugin in same site, if that’s what you mean.
basically I create gallery with NextGen, and protect it with S2Member, and put restriction for ngg_tag so people can’t access it publicly. it was work, but not anymore.
can I message the link to you privately ?, since the site is currently active membership based site, and if I put the URL, people will know the hole. how can I send you the link privately ?

Got it.
You can change the domain name to “mysite.com”, I’m interested in what follows after it. And the screenshot can be of just the URI restriction’s panel.
the one that I want to protect is mysite.com/ngg_tag/tagkeyword, I create simple search using tag keyword here.
here’s the screenshot in my URL Restriction admin : http://prntscr.com/3jng7b
I try every possibilities, but nothing works.
but when I put mysite.com/?s=keyword, it’s work, the page redirected to my sales letter and public can’t access it.
I’m using latest WP and S2Member Version

Thanks!
You can try just having these in the level 1 URI restriction, they seem to be enough for what you want:
ngg
s=
If the page mysite.com/ngg_tag/tagkeyword is being served by WordPress, and you have s2Member’s restriction configured, and you have set the Memberhsip Options Page, then the URLs that have those strings in the URI should be protected and allow only users with Level 1 access.
If that isn’t the case, please do the troubleshooting described here: http://www.s2member.com/kb/common-troubleshooting-tips/
hi Chris,
it looks like S2Member have some conflict with NextGen Gallery, the problem resolved itself when I switch NextGen to NextCellent Gallery. Now everything’s fine.
thank you for your help anyway !
cheers
