URL Change Debacle
-
I’m having one of those issues where I made a change of my WordPress url (from wendavis.com/wordpress to wendavis.com/blog and my site has been down ever since. I’ve been scouring the forums all week, I’ve tried making the edits to the functions.php file, and directly in the database via the phpMyAdmin console.
It looks like my theme and all the information is still there, however I can’t seem to get past this error when I try to bring up the WordPress Admin:
Warning: require(/home/content/d/j/w/djwendavis/html/wordpress/wp-includes/class-wp.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/d/j/w/djwendavis/html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 70
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/content/d/j/w/djwendavis/html/wordpress/wp-includes/class-wp.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’) in /home/content/d/j/w/djwendavis/html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 70
I’m rather new to all this, so this is like reading Chinese, I’m not sure what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Wendell
