UPS Shipping API & Ports

    My UPS Shipping API account is setup correctly in my WP eCommerce. The shipping module pings UPS and returns rates on the checkout page on one hosting server, but the exact same setup up does NOT pull shipping rates a different hosting server. Is it possible that the hosting account is blocking outbound ports and if so does WP eCommerce require a certain port to be open in order to display shipping rates from UPS?
