[REQUEST] Uploads in specified folders

I’d like to make a request for the next version:

Being able to specify what folder you want to upload to instead of being bound to the default folder. I have a lot of images to upload and I really need to organize them properly. NextGen Gallery isn’t an option as I need some images to link to attached pages, which is a feature NGG lacks (as far as I know). Plus, I won’t really use galleries.

I have already tried manually creating folders and changing the setting for the default folder for each upload that needed to be put in a specific folder. Unfortunately, as the setting controls the URL of each upload it breaks images that are not in the folder set as default. If anyone knows a workaround for this until this feature is added, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Also, when I upload large images it automatically crops a copy of it to a header-sized image. Might want to make that optional as it just adds more unnecessary images.
