upload.php errors

    I’m getting the following errors when I try to upload through the dashboard.

    Warning: copy(/home/ravingma/public_html/wp-content/image.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/ravingma/public_html/wp-admin/upload.php on line 170
    Couldn’t upload your file to /home/ravingma/public_html/wp-content/image.jpg.

    The permissions on wp-content are set at 666, so I don’t think that’s the problem. Any other ideas?
