Hi Gang,
The Upload/Insert function is not working. (I can upload by clicking "And an Image".) In comparing this site to the other one that does work, it is missing two folders in wp-content: the Uploads folder and the Updates folder.
Because it worked fine on the last site, but not this one, I'm not sure what has changed. Is there a function that I need to enable so that WP will create those folders and thus fix thie issue?

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

Are you seeing any error messages? Have you checked your uploads path in Settings->Media?

Posted 1 year ago #Esmi, it was a strange case of things not having refreshed properly, along with a default setting needing to be adjusted (along with a couple other things). But all is now well. Thank you for your speedy assistance!
