Uploading Zipped Theme via Control Panel

    Hi, I keep trying to upload a theme through the upload option (browse for zip file) in the WordPress control panel. However, every time I do it, it takes me to a “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage” message. Is there something that needs to be configured to allow this method of installing themes? I am able to install themes via FTP, but it would be convienient to be able to just upload the zip file throught the control panel’s install option. Please let me know if anyone knows what is causing this problem. Thanks!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
