Uploading video from mobile to youtube

    Hi Ben,

    Everything is working fine when we are uploading videos on the desktop directly to youtube, however we are having some issues with mobile.

    So far I have tested that Images upload directly to the media library from desktop and mobile.

    However, Videos do not upload either to the media library or to youtube. It would appear the video can be selected but it does not trigger/start the upload. Is this something you have tested or seen working? I am currently testing on IOS7 iphone 5…

    Ben, I’ve done a bit of debugging and I’ve got a hunch it might be something to do with the file type and mime type checking… I am not sure…

    Thanks for the feedback.

    To be honest i haven’t tested uploading via mobile with this yet but i’d agree with your initial conclusion r.e. the mime type.

    When using the youtube uploader the plugin should create an error log file in the plugin root. Can you see if there is one.

    Also do the files make it into the wordpress media library?
