   I will be using a WordPress install to run a products database. I was wondering if it is possible to upload excel spreadsheets into work press, with each row being a post?

   There would probably be 1-2 custom fields and I would upload to theexerpt as well.

   Has anyone done this? I was going to go through by hand, but there are hundreds and hundreds of products....

   Any help is greatly appreciated!

   Thanks so much Monika... I will probably have to clean up by file, but this is such a better solution!

   has anyone tried this? is there a way to customize the import process so you can have each cell be a post and one element of each row be a tag for all of the other posts/cells?
