uploading trouble

    Hey Community,

    I am having some trouble uploading files when posting. I have already updated the php.ini to handle larger files, I started with 50mbs.

    When I upload a file that is 20mbs, after quite some time, rather than ending with info on the file in the upload area it just reverts back to the original upload tab… like nothing happened.

    When I upload smaller files, like 5mb, everything works fine. I have even tried upping my php.ini files upload limit to 200mb, and it still doesn’t work.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Had another thought. Would it have anything to do with the settings below? I was thinking that maybe there is a script that might be timing our for the upload is taking too long.

    max_execution_time = 400
    max_input_time = 400
    memory_limit = 80M

    What are we uploading that’s 20 megs? I’m assuming that you’re going through the Write Posts page, right? Anything that large, I’d just upload via FTP and create a manual link.

    Yes, that is what I am thinking too. I have a client requesting a larger file size for uploads, so the file upload function would be easiest for them to use. They are doing longer format instructional and interviews… video files.
