Hi, I'm testing wp2.0 and when I upload transparent .png's wp replaces the blackground with black :(
I've tried a .gif, and tested it on wp.com (to make sure it wasn't my install).
Does anyone know how to fix this for my local install ?
Cheers.

I am having the same problem. I am using the latest wordpress. The images are transparent gifs. I upload in wordpress and there is the black background. What's interesting is when I first had the newest WP installed, the images uploaded fine and showed as transparent. Now..they are not. This is very annoying. If anyone has a solution on this..it would be greatly appreciated.
What browser are you looking at these with?
Getting the same problem here with transparent gifs.
Happens in the upload area of the admin/dashboard, as well as in the postings.
Transparent sections of gifs come in black.
I cant figure out the css for the admin section, or why it would apply to the actual blog postings.
Any ideas what is causing this?
(using "in business" theme)
