Uploading new slides appear in multiple galleries (5 posts)

I've created a new gallery and when I upload slides and attach them only to the new gallery, they appear on the new gallery as well as in the other gallery. I do not have the slides set to appear in multiple galleries.

I can't figure out why new slides automatically show in the first gallery when displayed on the page, yet under settings they are showing that they are linked to the new gallery.

Any help would be appreciated. If I can't fix this, I'll have to switch plugins and I really don't want to as I love this plugin. :)

Also, any image I upload, under "order" it says 1 for every one of them, and it is adding the photos to the other gallery (not selected) in the #1 position.

I see you mention 'attach', I'm guessing you're on the media page and use the 'attach' link to attach the image to the slideshow?

Images should not actually be attached to a slideshow, you just need to go to the slideshow and in the slides list click the 'Image slide' button to insert an image slide. This is descriobed on the installation page.

The order of slides is also assigned on the slideshow's page, by dragging and dropping the slides in the right order.

I incorrectly wrote "attach" instead of "assign". I know how to use the plugin as I've been using it for quite some time on multiple websites.

The problem is that when I add a new slide to one gallery, it adds them to the existing gallery that I have not assigned the slide to. The only way to remove the slide from the gallery I don't want it in is to delete it, which then deletes the slide from the gallery I want it in as well because it is obviously deleting the slide altogether.

This is not user error and I have not modified the plugin. I repeated the steps on a different website with no other plugins activated and the problem is still there.

That's very strange. I have looked through the plugin's code, but I wasn't able to find anything that seemed to be able to cause this behaviour.

I would love to see this happen for myself, but I've been unable to reproduce the problem on any of my own websites. Is there any chance you could provide me with an author-level account on the website that has no other plugins, except for the slideshow, activated? Of course I fully understand it if you don't like me to nose around in the back-end of your website.

However, it would be great if you'd let me. My e-mail address is wordpress@stefanboonstra.com. Thanks in advance.
