Uploading media problem and work-around (1 post)

New to this stuff. Pardon my ignorance.

When i am adding photos to a page, only an icon appears. When i click that icon, it leads me to the "Edit Image and Advance Settings" window. When i go to the Advanced Settings tab, under "Source", i can see the supposed location or address of the image.

So i manually upload the image in the server database.

One problem is that the filename of the image under the "Source" which i mentioned earlier is always being appended with "1" or "-". I dont know why but when i manually remove the "1" or "-" from the filename the image would now show up.

So, that would be my temporary work around. I know i am doing something wrong or missing something and i would appreciate your inputs.

Also, i could not replace the header image as i could not find a way to view the "Source" and edit it appropriately.

Hoping for some assistance. Thanks in advance.
