uploading media

    Unable to create directory /hsphere/local/home/newhope/igniteyourtorch.com/_newsite/wp-content/uploads/2012/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
    When I try to upload images, I get this message. What can I do to fix this?

    Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.
