• We are using wordpress as a swim club, members blog and forum. Recently the club went away for a weeks training and has now returned with nearly 200 photos. Is there any way of uploading them to the blog en masse, as opposed to one by one? Any tips on how to upload them quicker would be appreciated.

Also, on a totally different subject, we are using version 2.9.1, and in site admin, I am being offered to upgrade to 2.9.2. By upgrading, will it affect the current settings and content, and will it change how the members see the site, as it has taken me ages to get people interested, and if it suddenly changes, it might put them off.

    Thanks for your help,
    Andy

The changes from 2.9.1 to 2.9.2 are minimal and will not affect UI.

Also, you should be able to upload multiple pictures at once with the standard image uploader. There’s a basic and a flash version and you should be able to switch between them. The flash one can do multiple files.
