Which Plugin does everyone find works best for quickly adding
    an image to a post?

I was using imagemanager and thought it was fairly good.

    Any ideas?

    Happy New Year!

Why use a plugin? The Write Post page has an image uploader that integrates with the editor reasonably well. Scroll down a bit.

    Otto42 -

I have used the Write Post page uploader and I will ask you why you haven't tried using a plugin?

ImageManager worked great and was far easier to use than the generic WP image uploader.

    NickRita -

I will give it a try!!

    Anyone else?

I don't use one because I don't need one. I don't really understand what a plugin could add anyway. You select the picture, you upload the picture, it generates thumbnails automatically, you can insert the picture directly into the post with various options... I mean, what more do you need?

I don't even understand how it could be any easier. What is easier about it? It's the simplest possible interface, select the file to upload, upload it, pick your settings, put it directly into the post. There's nothing more to add to it. There's no steps you could eliminate.

Admittedly, I do use the Facebook Photos plugin to integrate my facebook photos into the existing image uploading panel. This is mostly for when I'm posting whole photo albums though. The albums are already on facebook, that just makes it simpler to use them there instead.
